If a matter fits our practice, I will be on a call with you inside the week. If it does not, I will say so on that same call, and point you to a firm that does handle it well.
Pablo Luis González Burgos
Founder & Managing Partner

Pablo Luis González Burgos is the founder and Managing Partner of González Burgos & Asoc. He has spent more than two decades advising international capital in the Dominican Republic, with a focus on corporate structuring, real estate and hospitality, private equity, and fiduciary counsel.

Early career roles at the Dominican tax authority, as District Attorney for the east side of Santo Domingo, and as Legal Director of the State’s Aqueduct Corporation gave him direct exposure to Dominican public law, tax administration, and bilateral negotiation with the Canadian government, the World Bank, and other international development institutions.

For more than a decade he has served as outside counsel to the largest private residential developer in the Dominican Republic and to a family of private equity funds connected to some of the most recognizable names in institutional investing. His mandates have touched approximately sixty thousand residential units across the country, a single-asset hotel acquisition of approximately $180M in Punta Cana, and an active hospitality development of approximately $800M with European co-investors. He is counsel to Hard Rock's Dominican Republic operations.

Pablo is Vice President and 50% shareholder of a leading private Dominican fiduciary corporation, Vice President of the Board of the Public Fiduciary Corporation of the Dominican State, and a founder-member of the Dominican Association of Fiduciaries. He is also shareholder and President of the company holding exclusive Dominican distribution rights for Bayer pharmaceutical and agricultural products.
